Where are you, "VACATION"?

Vacation.......What a beautiful word to hear? Vacations are the best time to have fun. We look forward to spending time with our families, friends with a new routine of no lectures, no alarms, no assignments, and no papers.....It gives me an opportunity to sleep as I please,😴

Nowadays we all are busy with our own studies.No one has enough spare time for joy. Even haven't enough time to video chatting. All are getting stuck with assignments and coming up exams. So only a vacation can rescue us. When I meet a vacation first of all I want to hang out with my friends. I don't even remember the day I went with them. I used to hang out with my gang weekly. But for a long time, I hadn't any chance for it. I want enough time for my practices. With these learning materials, we haven't spare time for practicing. So I will expect to go for a hard practice in my vacation. Another very very important thing is shopping. Due to the covid and lectures, I was unable to go shopping freely. I have o buy a big list of my own stuff. There are a collection of films to watch. On my vacation, I"ll watch them and I will go to my bestie's home and spend about a week with her. We have a big plan to go on a trip with family members. With the recession of Covid-19, we will plan our family trip.

The vacation is an excellent time for us to take stress-free excursions and get close to nature which we are unable to do in our busy timetable for our entire semester. I have a great plan to spend my vacation with a willingness to-do list. I"m waiting eagerly.

Shell Crafts

 Everyone enjoys doing what he likes the most in his spare time. Apart from living for others, man's mind is inclined always towards some kind of skills and activities that makes him happy. It can be collecting stamps, reading novels, painting, listening to music e.t.c

Apart from that, are there any other activities that we do for our mental relaxation? Yes, Of course. I"ll tell. When I went to the beach I saw many various types of shells and pebbles on the coast. They were so beautiful with eye-catching colors. So I gathered them to take me home with me.

I put them into a glass bottle. After a few days, I thought of making something creative with them. So I got them and tried to make some sculptures with them with the help of internet tutorials. At the first time, it was rather ugly. But when I did it continuously it becomes looking perfect.....Do you think so...?

 

Those are some pictures of my creations made by me. When seashells were just there I wanted to make something new by using them. Some of my friends asked me to buy them. I sold them for a reasonable price.😋 I love to make that kind of creations and I feel so relaxed when I make them.

First Semester,

 My first semester as a university student, it's a very new experience for me. I made many friends and met a lot of many people. I discovered what are my subjects major to be & learned how to work as a university student. My parents will not care about me on studies and teachers will not keep any eye on me as they did in school life so I learned to be independent in university.

Due to the corona infection, we were unable to meet each other. We haven't even seen the university properly😑So we hadn't any chance to learn as we do physically. It's the worst thing we never expected. Lessons of the first semester were started via zoom. So we adapted online education. Certainly, it's rather boring. But with this situation, there wasn't another way to learn.

As the students of the faculty of music, we have so many practical subjects. So there were so many impairments with technology like delay issues. But our lectures did their service best! We faced many assignments in many subjects through the online system. We learned by discussing with each other lessons we didn't understand. It causes us to tune up our friendship💞

I think the semester is coming to an end. We all have many assignments to do and also this blog writing is an assignment too😁That's why I write this, Hahaha, and we have to study more for our exams as well as our practices.,n .n ., I think we all need a vacation soon to relax our minds.

Four-Legged Friends...

 Among the other animal, Dog is known as man's best friend because they are loyal and friendly to their masters. Families that have dogs, they are not just pets they are also true members of their families. Through this blog on my pet. I"ll be talking about all the lovely and adorable things they do.

I have two dogs with me. We called them Jade and Bruno. They are incredibly and unconditionally loyal to me. They love as much as I love them sometimes more. They are the reason  I am active and good at exercise and they will never let me be lazy. When I leave the home and come back they both cuddle and lick all over my face and show me how much they missed me while I wasn't at home. Whenever I fight with my brothers they are always there and try to settle down. They shower unconditional love on the members of my family. But with outsiders, they get very angry. So when you come to my home let me know earlier.

Nowadays when humans are being selfish it is so difficult to find someone faithful. But my real friends are always with me. They are indeed a blessing in my life.💘

My Dear Loneliness

Bansuri....

 I began flute playing 1 year ago. Among lots of instruments, I rather learn the flute because of its sound. Actually, it's not only a sound, but It's also a feeling I think.

Bansuri is considered the first wind instrument. Thousands of years ago people used it for communication purposes. It is made with bamboo. The rhythmic melody of the bansuri opens us to the beautiful sounds of nature like flowing water, the sound of the wind, birds...We're living in the digital world today. But the beautiful sound produced by the flute can't be replaced by any device. The sweet music of the flute creates a soothing effect on the mind.

Bansuri is an instrument that can easily maintain and transport. We don't have to buy an extra seat when we travel with it. Playing the bansuri is definitely enjoyed by the player as well as the audience. Apart from that it also provides many significant health benefits. The sound of the bansuri captivates our mind and calm down it. It helps in the improvement of lung power and enhances the coordination of a person. With these, all reasons flute became my favorite one!

 Hope you all are doing well✌👀Today I'm going to write about something  I received a few months ago, Can you guess what it is? ok, I'll tell.

A few months ago a person called me and asked for directions to my home. He told me there is a gift for me. After a few minutes, the bell ranged. There was a man from the courier service and gave me a parcel. Accidentally I ran to my room and untied the parcel. Oh wow! It was a cute gift. Let me see a photo of what was inside the box.

This is one of the types of the cactus plant. Cactus plants are often misunderstood as harsh and insensitive due to their thorns. It symbolizes endurance, persistence, and toughness. Gifting a Cactus to someone means telling them that they never give up and care for them. I think that's why she sent me that type of gift. I take good care of this lovely gift💚

Bro's Day!

9 months ago, on Friday January 21 in 2021,my brother's wedding ceremony who is seven years younger than me. It was great excitement. The preparations were many days in advance. Wedding cards were sent to friends and relatives.

The marriage party was welcomed. The marriage  procession started at 9 a.m. The bride's dress looked beautiful. In that dress the bride's looked as a fairy. All of invitees wore special dresses of bright colors. Everyone  chose their own dresses according to their own styles.

Due to the death of his father elder brother of the bride gave his sisters' hand to my brother and prayed for them to have a lovely life and be happy forever with each other. My brother is lucky because he and his wife really love each other.

There were lots of curries and desserts for lunch. Delicious dishes were served. After the lunch we all danced. Everyone asked for the groom and bride to dance together and they did! It was a wonderful time. Then there were some speeches given by parents. After the departure of the bride and groom, the ceremony was over! We have many fond memories with bro's wedding day💑💝

 I would like to tell you some words about one of my favorite cafes in Gampaha. It is a suitable place to sit with a Burger and Capaccuino😋& certainly it's a better place to spend spare time with our friends.

This Urban Smokehouse is located Yakkala-Gampaha road near the Idigolla temple. The interior of this cafe helps to create a relaxed atmosphere. It is a small cafe which specializes in serving many kinds of Burgers, Desserts, Coffee, Beverages...etc with a small and simple dining room.

I and my family members went there three times. It was an amazing day for all of us. Cafe menu was rather diverse. There were different types of Coffee there Espresso, Latte, Black coffee, and some others. I think this cafe is an expert at serving burgers. There were many kinds of burgers with different fillings. There was a special one for the family pack. I'll show you that. I'm sure you will love it too...

Did you see that huge burger tower? Then take this tissue and wipe your saliva😂It's a place with different kinds of beverages like Mocktails, Cocktails, Mojito, Milkshakes, Fruit Juice...etc.

The interior of this cafe is rather cosy and comfortable. Near the entrance there is a  mirror, therefore, visitors have an opportunity to look at themselves and I want to tell waiters are rather neat and polite. Usually, the order is ready quickly and don't need to wait for a long time. I can't remember the time cafe starts accurately. As I remember 9 am to 8 pm it's open.

So you can easily enjoy yourself in this lovely place,...

My Chum,

 Friendship is one of the greatest blessings that not everyone is lucky enough to have. A person's best friend is the closest and most special person in that person's life. If we share all of the most important and crucial things in our life with someone, we called them best friends.

                                       We meet a lot of people in our life journey, though there are only a few who leave a mark on us. My bestie is one such person who has been able to make a positive impact on my life. We have been a part of each other's lives for the longest time. Our friendship is still developing...

Our friendship started when we were at advanced level classes. Both of us were hesitant to talk to each other first. Gradually we developed a bond. Haha, I remembered the first time she tried to talk to me😁However, to my surprise we became best friends within a few months. Our parents also became very good friends like both of us.

The best thing is her likes and dislikes are always similar to my likes and dislikes. As an example, she is greedy to eat Duriyan and me also. We both are insane in traveling. We traveled to so many places like Hikkaduwa, Beliaththa, Galle, Kandy, Adam's peak, etc......

My mind relaxes when I'm with her. When I feel displeased she changes my mood quickly with makes me laugh. Both of us inspire each other to become better humans. We push each other to do our best and we are always there in need. I can't tell about my loving buddy through a post. Absolutely I am fortunate to have a bestie like her in my life💗
